The process of assessing the level of subsidy to be paid for a resident on the basis of his or her relative care needs.
n. formal review of a health-care professional’s performance, carried out on an annual basis by a trained appraiser in order to provide feedback on past performance, chart continuing progress, and identify needs for development. For doctors, the content of the appraisal is based on the General Medical Council’s document Good Medical Practice. See also clinical governance.
