adj. having two hornlike processes or projections. The term is applied to an abnormal uterus that is divided into two separate halves at the upper end.
an anomaly or anatomical variation in which there is a slight indentation of the endometrium at the top of the uterus. Unlike a septate uterus, in which the indentation extends into a septum that divides the interior of the uterus, and a *bicornuate uterus, it does not normally affect reproductive function.
