Leaves—an infusion is given to women after delivery.
An alcoholic extract of the leaves shows antibacterial activity against E. coli. The leaf juice enters into hair oils for alopecia areata.Aerial parts are reported to contain flavonoids, flavone aglycones and flavone sulphates.Dosage: Whole plant—10-20 ml juice. (CCRAS.)
