An antispasmodic drug used to treat irritable bowel syndrome.
A direct relaxant of the smooth muscle in the INTESTINE, it may relieve pain in patients with IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME (IBS) or DIVERTICULAR DISEASE. Adverse effects are rare.
