Meta-IodoBenzylGuanidine: a radioactive *tracer, labelled with iodine-123 or iodine-131, which binds to adrenergic nerve tissue. With the aid of a gamma camera, it can be used to detect the presence of a range of adrenergic tumours, including *neuroblastoma and *phaeochromocytoma.
