n. in the USA, a licensed physician or surgeon in postgraduate training in a particular specialty, who is responsible for the care of a number of hospital patients with the assistance of *interns, whom he or she instructs. A resident may work with one or more senior surgeons or physicians.

Adult Care Home / Residential Facility

A residence which offers housing and personal care services to a number of residents. Services (such as meals, supervision and transportation) are usually provided by the owner or manager. Residential Care
