Sulphur: From 3 Different Sources


A mineral that is a constituent of vitamin B1 (see vitamin B complex) and several essential amino acids.

In the body, it is needed for the manufacture of collagen and is a constituent of keratin.

It is used in the form of a cream to treat acne.

a powerful corrosive acid, H2SO4, widely used in industry. Swallowing the acid causes severe burning of the mouth and throat and difficulty in breathing, speaking, and swallowing. The patient should drink large quantities of milk or water or white of egg; gastric lavage should not be delayed.
